What is Art Therapy?
Art therapists are master-level clinicians who work with people of all ages across a broad spectrum of practice.
Art therapy engages the mind, body, and spirit in ways that words alone can’t always access.
Visual and symbolic expression gives meaning and voice to our experiences, empowers us, and creates opportunities for connection & self-discovery.
Art therapy is more focused on how the process feels, rather than how the finished product looks.
You don’t need any drawing skills or experience to benefit from art therapy!
Clinical Art Therapy
Clinical art therapy is mental health treatment.
Art Therapy can be used as a primary, complimentary or supportive form of therapy. It is especially helpful when we don’t have the words or emotions are stuck or blocked.
I work 1:1 with people wanting to process emotions, heal, and address health goals through specific prompts that align with their treatment goals.
Non-Clinical Art Therapy
Non-clinical art therapy offerings are more casual, open studio based and are community-focused.
These sessions and workshops focus on wellness, self-care and self-expression. They involve opportunities to share your art and experience in a supportive group.
These groups are less expensive than 1:1 art therapy and can be joined from anywhere in the world.
